Review: Solid case. - This case is good looking and seems like it can take a lot of abuse. The screen protector is loose on the phone like someone else had brought up, but since the case is substantial, I got a tempered screen protector. I could not be happier. The case is simple to install, but can be difficult to take off. I like that it doesn't come apart very easy. Just lightly pull on the charging slot (PULL LIGHTLY) so that you can get a guitar pick, smooth side of butter knife. or finger nail in the slot and work around the edge to release its hold on the screen portion of case. After installation of tempered screen protector you should be able to shoot your phone out of a canon and your phone would be fine.

This case is good looking and seems like it can take a lot of abuse. The screen protector is loose on the phone like someone else had brought up, but since the case is substantial, I got a tempered screen protector. I could not be happier. The case is simple to install, but can be difficult to take off. I like that it doesn't come apart very easy. Just lightly pull on the charging slot (PULL LIGHTLY) so that you can get a guitar pick, smooth side of butter knife. or finger nail in the slot and work around the edge to release its hold on the screen portion of case. After installation of tempered screen protector you should be able to shoot your phone out of a canon and your phone would be fine.

Pros: 1. Everything on the phone lines up perfectly with the openings. 2. It seems to provide real protection to the phone. Minor gripes: 1. USB Waterproofing flap on the bottom is a bit difficult to open. Your results may vary. 2. Even with texturing on the back and sides, it's a bit hard to hold due to the "roundness" of the area where the sides transition into the back - it needs to be a bit more "square" oir have deeper texture for a good hand grip. 3. It's BIG - it adds a LOT of girth and weight to the V40 (which, IMHO, is too thin to hold onto with my big hands). Overall a good buy if it checks your boxes.
