The case arrived in a padded envelope and was securely packaged. I was pleased to see the shipping was free even without Amazon Prime, which is a great benefit for individuals who may not have Prime. Although the price is good, there are definite trade-offs in quality for the cheaper price.The good: This case was a perfect fit for this tablet. I have full access to all buttons and ports, and the camera is unobstructed. It was very easy to snap my tablet into the hard portion of the case. The price is also fairly low and similar to the price my local stores charged for a universal tablet. It was great to find a case designed for my tablet in this price range. I also like the way the cover folds back into a stand for easy viewing of the tablet. This is quite convenient when watching video or reading books on the tablet.The not so good: The cover itself provides minimal protection for the tablet. There is nothing to provide any shock absorption, so I do not expect this case to protect from drops. It should however, provide some protection from scuffs and/or scratches. The quality of the Synthetic Leather is fairly poor which means this case may not stay looking good very long. The material is thin, and it is already scuffed and dented from the process of shipping. I have bought other similar cases for other tablets in the past, and the synthetic leather material on them was much sturdier. Additionally, the magnets that hold the cover closed are fairly weak and do not effectively hold the cover closed.
