Thank you** A: Never tested actual distance, but with any radio no matter the quality.. there are always conditions that can effect the usage like walls, hills, atmospheric conditions.. for children’s radios these did really well at Fort Casey on Whitney Island, Washington state from one end to the other without much distortion.. that being said the distortion was probably kids.
