I've noticed an improvement in my allergies since taking these. Vitamin C is a dehistamine - meaning it removes histamines - as opposed to anti-histamine. So if you need something more than an antihistamine for your allergies try Vitamin C. It also helps the immune system cope with colds etc. The human body can't absorb a lot of Vitamin C at once and taking mega doses can cause kidney stones. It's nice to have an extended release form like this that has better absorption than vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid. Ester C is absorbed better.
