It's a little thick for my electric trimmer but feeds easily in my gas trimmer.I did manage to get it wound and fed into my electric trimmer and it worked really well except it wouldn't feed by bumping. I had to advance it manually. Fortunately, it's very durable and even on my large property, I only had to advance the string twice.With my gas trimmer, I had no problems at all. It gives a nice, clean cut and again, I didn't have to advance it very often. Good stuff.One star deleted because of the crappy, plastic container.
