I have slippers that I hated wearing because they were lined with synthetic fleece that made my feet sweat and got my socks wet. I put these wool topped insoles in them, and no more sweating, and very comfortable. They are a little thick, but my slippers are a size too big and with the insoles they fit perfect. I like the cushion of wool and it is very comfortable on the skin. They stay put inside the shoes. Wool also helps control foot odor. My feet do not get so sweaty. I read reviews on wool insoles before getting these and some of the reviewers mentioned that it helped keep their feet warm on frozen ground. Not a concern for me in Houston TX, but I bet it does.
