In addition, I would like to point out that this product does NOT contain wooden boards / slats. **Q: What is the installed spacing of the brackets?** A: Every 3 1/2 inches **Q: what would the assembled hight be** A: The assembled height of one package from top to bottom when they are closed would be approximately 40 inches. **Q: Can use horizontally for making ceiling?** A: Don't see why not. Just need to make sure each louver is well attached. The screws they provide were not my favorite.
