The combination for the flat washer + spring washer when installed on the studs on the vehicle allows only two thread on the nut with no thread protrusion. Starting with the packaging, both boards and all the hardware were wrapped perfectly. The box had some tears on it but the merchandise was in great condition. The instructions were phenomenal. Everything was easy to read and install. It took me approximately an hour from start to finish.
