Thank you kind stranger! **Q: how roomy are the pockets ?** A: Back pockets are normal size, front pockets are tiny. They are shallow and come to a point. I can barely get each of my hands into the empty left and right front pockets, so it is hard to get anything out of the pockets. I try to carry a notebook in the front left pocket and it barely fits, but then it is hard to get it back out since it fits snugly under the waistband. The notebook is 6x4.25x.75 inches. For this reason alone I will not buy any more Dickieds unless I can check the pockets beforehand. It's too bad, because the pants fit great and look sharp. **Q: How big are the cargo pockets? All trousers were received to the correct measurements and the fit was perfect. I normally order 1 as a sample to check quality and size before I order other colors. And this is what I did with Dickies Workwear Trousers, I ordered the black as a sample and it was a perfect size and fit. Unfortunately, I was not as lucky with the second dark grey pair of trousers. The (W42) size was 3/4 " smaller on the waist and unwearable.Amazon accepted to return (this Prime) item back to the US but I was charged $13.50 courier charges. In other words, I had to pay for Dickies fault and lack of quality control. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robust and Smart all in one *by R***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 February 2022* These trousers are robust, good thick material and they fit UK sizing as expected. They feel good to wear and they also look smart. The only slight doubt I have is over the clasp at the waist, but time will tell and the zip feels tough. Good side pockets for depth - the back pocket is not so deep but I haven't lost anything out of it.
