I had these when I was young and have given them to several of my grand kids for Christmas. Some were 2 or 3 and loved them **Q: Does the design continue to the back of the robots?** A: No, the back is painted a solid color, matching the front. There is no robot painted on the back. **Q: Does anyone know where these stacking robots are made?** A: I purchased these a decade ago, and cannot recall.
