My border collie needs a nighttime frisbee and this would be great if its flexible!** A: It is not a very hard plastic, but it is not flexible enough to bend to like roll it up or fold it. The edges are softer but the disc part is a firm plastic. I saw a dog show at Dollywood and they used this frisbee for their dogs to catch. It is sturdy enough to resist a few good bumps but I wouldn't expect this to resist rough play. The sides are softer and the light can be easily turned on and off.
