While I liked the P&J fragrance oil, it was more expensive. Admittedly, I initially wasn't crazy about the smell of the Hiqili oil. I found it to have a more smoky and earthy scent, and has a less sweet smell to it, than the P&J sandalwood. I'm guessing that is in part because it is an essential oil and not a fragrance oil. P&J is listed as a fragrance oil. It mixes well with other scents. I've come to really like the Hiqili sandalwood oil and it's now my go-to. I use it in diffusers, with other fragrances like cherry blossom. Another plus for the Hiqili oil is the packaging. I purchased the larger 3.38 Fl Oz bottle. Along with everything being well padded and secured, it came with a larger dropper and a smaller bottle with a dropper for travel. I would highly recommend this oil for its high quality at an affordable price.
