I can say I was disappointed in the base. It is made of some type of plastic and the paint on some areas is bubbled and just flakes off. **Q: can i put an alexa lightbulb in it?** A: You should be able to however, it will not look as nice as a regular vintage style Edison light bulb. **Q: So where can I buy these bulbs?** A: I bought mine at lowes **Q: Can you use any other regular bulb?** A: Amazon must have screwed up on this one.
