It is true however that if the camera covers any areas of another persons private property, that could be considered a breach of privacy. When setting up the camera, just ensure it isn't capturing anyone's private property. It is perfectly legal to set it up so that it covers your own front gate, or your vehicle parked on the road outside of your house.
