It's basically super glue with an accelerator for fast drying. Putting super glue on fabric will make it crack then rip. I've done headliner and work with fabrics frequently. I would recommend a good contact adhesive like Weldwood by DAP or something similar.Hope this helps. **Q: Why is the expiration date April of 2019 when I just got it in December of 2018?** A: I had the same problem , the last time was for one year. Can't win. **Q: Can the glue be used on its own?** A: Yes, it's just a regular medium thickness CA glue.
