My review will focus on comparing this Panier des Sens scent with the L'Occitane verbena. This Panier des Sens verbena is quite different and not at all what I expected, but I do love it. Really love it. The L'Occitane verbena spray has a very "crisp" refreshing smell, which is what I love about that particular scent. Whereas, this Panier des Sens verbena spray is every bit as refreshing but with a softer, more feminine something.... This is one of those scents that makes me want to keep putting my wrist to my nose. It's somehow both relaxing and energizing, like a brisk walk in a light, cool breeze. I feel as if there is something missing in the description of this scent, but I haven't quite put my finger what it is. There is certainly something that softens the herbal scent, something that brings them together into something more sensual and romantic than a typical herbal scent. I will keep buying this Panier des Sens verbana, but I won't stop buying L'Occitane verbana. I may even wear the Panier scent more often than L'Occitane. They are very similar but somehow very different. The glass bottle is thick and heavy. I love the sturdy wooden lid, which seals tightly over the spray nozzle. This would be a perfect bottle to pack in my luggage. I never carry the L'Occitane when I travel because it is the type of bottle that will someday leak into everything. However, this bottle is perfect for traveling. The decorative tube is also nice.
