The machine assumes it's the end of the track and the turntable stops turning, even though there is about 30 seconds of music left. This worked fine for a bit (literally for two cassettes), but then both decks began producing out-of-tune, warbly sounds that made the off-speed turntable sound like Dolby Atmos. Yikes. The sound quality is very good for a relatively small device. Used the dual cassette recording feature-which is a feature very hard to find these days-and it worked well. Have been playing very old record albums and none of them have skipped, which I was expecting given how old they are. Going to assume that has to do with the good quality of the turntable and the stylus. All all in all, good quality for the money.
