Box used for shipping had significant damage but the internal elements of the bike appeared to be in good shape. After assembly, bike did not work. Very poor instructions in manual don't support much troubleshooting by the customer. I accidentally contacted the wrong vendor for troubleshooting in preparation to return bike. They advised me that these bikes often have a disconnected wire between the generator sectors (base by the petals) and the display. I ordered a "crank-puller" (at my cost)-- pulled out the crank connected the wire and voila -- works great. I had ordered thru Amazon.com Services LLC -- no help with troubleshooting. Luckily, I reached out to the wrong vendor by accident and got excellent advice. Of cost, I have to add the cost of the crank puller to the final cost, -- and my time. But I certainly did not want to re-package the bike to ship back. Nice quiet ride, good (not superb) display -- I like the bike. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pricey, and not what it seems to be but usable and sturdy *by L***N on June 8, 2013* When I first purchased this item.. the Box it came in was smashed and look like it fell off 4 trucks. The Styrofoam INSIDE had been PULVERIZED (like snow). After taking all the parts out and looking them over I found a large crack on the main BASE unit...I had to put everything back and DUCKTAPE the heck out of the box... contacted Amazon.. printed out the returnable, printable label... UPS picked up it the next day and Amazon sent me another unit free of charge. (took about 4 days)The new BOX was even in WORSE condition than the first one... but miraculously all the parts survived transport. Honestly Amazon needs to check about their warehouses and tend to broken looking Boxes.Yes this is heavy and requires a bit of unloading and putting together.. I did this myself (Male.. 30s.. 200 lbs).. I"m average Strength and the instructions are not too hard to understand. All the parts are labeled and infact they give you a crappy phillips and hex wrenches incase you do not own your own.The CON about this is that the MAIN CONSOLE (the Electronic device that shows your RPMs and Calories,ect) does not fit properly onto the Exercise Bike... Basically you are given an updated version that never was designed for this... infact I thought it was weird when the instruction manual had a PRINTOUT paper stuck inside the main booklet explaining the newer version.. a definite tip off that something wasn't right.The Console can be attached to the Bike... but the grey plastic holder underneath it will not attach to the CONSOLE and so it slides down to the Cup Holder...It does not effect the use of the bike in anyway... and the CONSOLE does work... but honestly I do not even care about it...Overall I gave this 3 stars because of the first broken unit I was shipped that should clearly have not been shipped and because of the NEWER CONSOLE that does not fit 100 percent to the exercise bike ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fitnex, an excellent bike and great service too! *by K***. on March 8, 2007* My bike was damaged in shipping.
