## Description

Silicone pelvic wand with optional warm or cool therapy helps relieve pelvic floor muscle pain. Designed by a pelvic PT with videos and instructions for effective use.

Review: Useful tool recommended by my physiotherapist that can really aid pelvic floor health and alliviate tension in the pelvic floor. Haven't found many similarly useful things.
Review: I've had pelvic pain for the last several months. Found out I had high tone pelvic floor dysfunction. Had spinal surgery that caused a lot of secondary issues. Had no idea back pain was responsible for contributing to this very uncomfortable problem. Was told by Urologist that the back pain was making me so stressed I was holding a lot of tension in my pelvis. ( I was like WTH, how did *THAT* happen?!) It took 2 months to see a pelvic floor physical therapist (the wait was 4 months, but was able to get in sooner) During my first visit, I was given exercises to help stabilize and strengthen my SI joints (which also connect to the pelvis) And, I was introduced to this handy device on my second PT visit. It's easy to use. Wash it with warm water & soap. Dry, then and apply lubricant. Use a simi circle motion (U shape) rolling back and forth; when you find a tender spot, apply very light pressure (use the small end) I was instructed to use it twice a day for 5 minutes. At first you may only want to do it once a day and build up from there-- because twice a day is a lot if you're just starting out. *also, you don't have to inset very far *second knuckle of index finger I was completely freaked about about using it *I'm talk deer in the headlights frozen* but if I can use it anyone can. I agree about having a PT work with you first; however, there's a lot of information on YouTube if you're willing to spend some time educating yourself. If you watch enough videos you'll be better informed. They cover what it is, what it does and how to use it. In addition, a crash course in where the pelvic floor structure is located. Hope this helps educate and clarify for anyone who also shares this fairy common condition. Update: I'm using my Wand 2 times daily.. It's really helping when I feel knotted up/urgency/pelvic floor spasm. After a lot of research on my part, I found out there's a 'Purdendal Nerve' located around S2 S3 (SI joint area) It's an often overlooked cause of pelvic floor pain...so IF you have pain in the SI joints, that nerve could possibly be a culprit. Had to bring it to my spinal pain management doctors attention. Getting a Nerve block (going though the back/SI area) to see if that little twerp may be part of the issue.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I read the review and see that the metal inside the wand can be snapped. Does anyone know how hard this wand is?**
A: There is absolutely no way this wand can break, especially when using it as intended, which is to relieve painful trigger points or tender points in the pelvic floor muscles. When checking for pelvic trigger points internally, you only want to place a small amount of pressure on the muscle - the same amount of pressure you might use to check a tomato for ripeness. This amount of pressure would never damage our product. As for the reviewer, I don't know if the person was cutting our product with a blow torch, but it's made of solid steel on the inside. If somehow it came defective, please contact us or Intimate Rose support and we'll get you an immediate replacement, refund, or exchange for one of our other wands.

**Q: Can this product be used as a pelvic floor massage tool?**
A: Yes, it can be used to manage endometriosis symptoms and as a pelvic floor massage tool and trigger point release wand. Those with endometriosis often also heave pelvic floor dysfunction. The heat and cooling nature of this wand can be use internally, to help manage endo symptoms while releasing tender points aka trigger points in the pelvic floor muscles. This wand is shaped like the other Intimate Rose wands, it just has the heating and cooling function.

**Q: Can you use coconut oil as a lubricant with this? I just don’t own any water based and I’m wondering if it ruins the wand. Thanks!**
A: Hi, Thanks for checking! Yes, using a natural oil such as coconut oil and avocado oil will be fine. :) For For further concerns, please send us a message via the Amazon messaging system for further assistance.

**Q: why can't i just put the purple wand in the fridge for a cool effect?**
A: I think It had to do with the material of the wand but ask the company for sure
