That being said it tastes very mild, and while I haven't used it as a food dye I can see it being good for that since the color is strong. The pictures show after 1 minute of hot steeping and then a few minutes of hot steeping of about a dozen flowers in 200ml of water or so.The color changing factor (going from blue to purple when lemon is added) works well and is fun for kids. Not very resealable... it came with a clip but that didn't work at all so I ended up using my own.
