**Q: Wouldn't it be more practical to just buy a 50 cent can of corn to fish with?**
A: No, the plastic corn stays on the hook. Baits a hair rig is time consuming and having a scented bait thst will not come off catches more fish because the bait is in the water more

**Q: Do they float well on a hair rig?**
A: Not sure if they float when new. I found this out by mistake .. I add sweet corn oil which helps them float and swells them from normal corn size to feed corn size..  they already do have a great smell before I add to them. Oh, also I would compare the softness to that of a artificial bass worm.  Cheaper corns are more like a pencil eraser.. the oil will soften them as well but not so much. Hope that helps.. tight lines !

This fake corn stays on a hair rig exceptionally well. I’ve casted the same piece of corn easily over 10 times with little to know wear even after recalling back in through weeds and debris. In addition to being very durable I will also say that the bait smells a lot like real sweet corn. Unfortunately I have yet to catch a carp on this bait after a few outings. That being said the I’ve come up empty at this lake 9/10 times fishing for carp and suspect the carp are genius lol. I do plan to keep using this bait as I think it’s preemptive to blame the lack of catches on the bait.
