Review: One of our family's favorite games - I'm picky with games - we have a large collection (everything from classic board games to euro-style strategy) and this one has risen to the top for our family. It's rare to find a good game that everyone enjoys playing - kids and adults - but this is now one of those for us. The gameplay is a little like rummy but with plenty of twists to make it feel unique. The goal is to use your cards to collect Treasure Points while fending off your opponents' attempts to attack your treasure while they build their own. There's a good blend of luck and strategy (for example, deciding which cards to keep and which cards to use to attack your opponents.) The instructions are well-done and the online videos are very helpful for learning the game. It takes a bit of time to learn the rules, but once you start playing it feels pretty simple. The pirate theme is fun and the artwork is wonderful. We've already introduced it to several other families and everyone loves it. (I think the recommended age of 7 and up seems about right). It's a really well-designed game and a great value for the amount of fun your family will have. Don't hesitate to buy it!
