The knife opens and closes and locks really good. I like the knife. The light not so much.after reading the questions I found out that their is a plastic disk you have to take out. The light works so now it's 5 stars ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT TOOL:HEAVILY RECOMMENDED *by B***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2016* Most the reviews here are subpar.The knife is extremely useful not only for camping trips,but for self defense scenarios and other situations where self preservation is important. I will be reviewing it on youtube when I get a channel up for knife reviews...but for a brief review:I give it 10/10. The blade is very point-based and yet still has a great edge. For self defense, this is ideal. Whether your style is based in stabbing or cutting, you could trust this knife with your life if someone attacks you.From a survivalist standpoint, you also have the window breaker and seat belt cutter. A tool with both these on will be ideal if you find yourself in a life or death situation where your car is in the water , or any situation where you cannot get out of your car or seatbelt. There is also a very easy to use firestarter(striking the whistle's metal rod against the serrated part of the knife is best if you want a knife that doesn't need sharpened because over time, firestarting knives will get dull,but serrations last longer than a plain edge at the cost of not being as sharp) and you get easy sparks. You just need flammable material to create the fire officially.The LED light is a good tool which people here seem confused by. Its not confusing. You simply take it out of the knife and unscrew it, remove the little cardboard paper there and screw it back in,but keep it slightly unscrewed to conserve battery and tighten when you need it. This knife has one issue though,but not enough to reduce a star or half star.The swing pin is way too close to the handle which makes it difficult to pen except by grabbing the blunt of the blade itself and pushing it manually to the lock in ### ⭐⭐ Broken inside of package *by W***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2017* Part of knife that kept it from closing was broke.
