But it does help keep my weight in check without being overly caffeinated. No jitters. When my bottle runs out, even eating healthily, my weight starts to creep up. And when using this product paired with workouts I lose weight better than just working out alone. So I know it works, but it's not a free ride. Also it gives me a bit of energy and a slight mood boost. I take one in the morning with a large glass of cool water on an empty stomach to get the day started. I tried the decaf version and it only helped maybe with mood. Didn't do much if anything for energy or weight. For some reason, green tea and caffeine seem to be the combination needed. Either ingredient alone will not do it. The fully caffeinated version makes me jittery. So the lightly caffeinated one is the perfect one for me! Note: The directions say to take one capsule a day, and that's what I stick with. The cathechins (EGCG) in green tea can be damaging to the liver in higher amounts. Some weight loss books recommend 3 capsules of green tea extract per day. I would never take that much. You may lose weight faster, but it's a problem waiting to happen with your liver.
