Highly recommend for those who are caregivers and need a way to let "patient" call caregiver as needed. Haven't tested them at the full 1000 ft. range, but did at about 300+ feet and with 4 walls, with the outside one being brick, and it worked fine. Just fyi. The charge on the receiver only lasts about 2 weeks, but the red warning light on it will let you know it needs recharging. Just plug it in, the light turns blue, and once it goes green, it's recharged. Don't know why the manufacturer is still using a barrel plug on the recharging wire, though. Almost everyone else has gone to usb type c. 08/25/2024 update. Well, these worked well right up until they didn't any longer. The batteries barely last a few hours now, so I never really know when the pagers will quit working. As a result, I have ordered replacement batteries as I really need thes to be working when I am outside in the yard and my wife needs assistance (mobility issues).
