What makes it special is that it contains no rough particles that can scratch optics or coatings, and it leaves no dust or lint behind. Be aware that paper towels and even 'super-soft' Kleenex can contain anything from sawdust to stainless steel fragments. As long as the particles aren't big enough to injure a person, they're not a problem - to people. Precision optics are a whole different story, as many (including myself) have discovered the hard way.This type of tissue is available in many different forms; boxes, rolls, etc.; this 'booklet' style is the most compact and portable.
