I purchased this and used it in-house for a couple weeks. I initially gave it 5-Stars, but it has quickly gone to one star after only a few weeks. It comes with two straps and the first one broke after the first time I tried to tighten it enough that it was snug on the lens. No big deal, my fault I though, I will use it on a smaller lens. When I trimmed the excess end off it broke again. Not my fault. Then I put the second strap on the original lens and it lasted less than two minutes out in the field. The second strap broke where the strap meets the handle mount. Total junk. This was supposed to be a simple quick field follow focus for the camera has to come off the rig while in the field. The second one broke while it was on the rig and protected.Here is my original review, "Okay guys, what do you expect? It affordable and it works well. Sure you can wrap a zip tie around your lens a tape a pencil on it and accomplish the same thing. But for no more than this costs it looks a lot better. And there are situations when something very simple works the best."Now it is not an expensive item, but your money would be better spent on lunch. It's a tie strap with a metal rod at the end ! yeah , that's what it is . It adds some leverage to a tight zoom ring like what i have on my tamron 17-50 .cons:What's not shown in the advertisement pics is the other end of the strap where it joins both ends. it pokes out and can brush up on your rig depending on the circumference of your lens, makes it a little awkward. If you have to use it without a rig , you'll just scratch yourself . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it does, nicely *by L***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2013* Anyone who has tried to use their fingers to smoothly zoom (follow focus? not necessary with the Canon 70D on which I've got this mounted ;) ) knows it's very hard to get consistent results, especially on large-diameter lenses. This gives you the leverage and fine-grained control to, after some practice, get it right every time.
