Make no mistake these little beauties are 'bright' when they need to be but give off a soft, warm glow when not a lot of light is needed. The remote is great! It has several different modes which my daughter loves. I've never had an issue with the remote not working or needing to be close to the light. Of course there is a sensor near the plug that needs to configure with the sensor on the remote to work. Just make sure neither sensor is obstructed. Yes, the copper wire is very thin but I like that. The wire is hardly noticeable on my daughter's ceiling. As for the wire getting tangled......it was rolled up neatly and as long as I was careful and slow I didn't have an issue hanging these lights on the ceiling. I would absolutely buy these again. They are beautiful! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars 4 stars as of now *by K***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2017* 4 stars only because I'm not sure of the longevity.
