Review: One of the series' highest points (and that's saying something) - The episodes: 5/5. I think season 19 is a perfect season, right up there with 8, 11, and 14 for me as far as best seasons go. The continuous plot (more-so even than season 18) is fresh and makes for some great moments. The features: 4/5. This is both better and worse than usually. The "Social Commentary" feature is awesome. It is like the Seinfeld trivia feature or Pop-up Brady from Nick at Night. It just shows trivia at the bottom of the screen throughout the episodes. The E3 thing for The Fractured But Whole is also really cool. The most unfortunate thing, though, is that we have finally seen the end for my beloved commentary minis. Instead, we get a "season commentary" by Matt and Trey where, in 25 minutes or so, they go through the whole season. It is great, but I've always loved throwing the minis on and re-watching the seasons that way. RIP. The packaging: 3/5. I understand no one really cares about this aspect, but they have done red too many times at this point. Sure, there are only so many colors and the first dozen or so knocked most of them out, but I feel like this is the 6th or 7th red one and that drives me nuts. Hopefully you don't care. Audio/video: 5/5. Looks and sounds great for me. I'm not an expert though, so if this is a really important thing to you (like you're a home theater person), then I'd check a dedicated blu-ray review site for a proper take on the AV quality.
