Even stock, it performs well for casual fun or just plinking around with friends. Darts travel a good distance, decent power, great value for the performance, and all in all just fun for everyone. **Q: Is it easy to prime?**
A: Very easy.  A small child might need two hands.  Or a small hand may find the reach hard.  But its an easy prime and a hair trigger. Keep your finger off the trigger when priming.

**Q: How far does it shoot**
A: About 25-35 ft flat, about another ten feet arching up. Never believe the ranges Hasbro/Nerf puts on theit products, especially on their Ultra line, which is a flat out lie.

**Q: So is the muti colored one ever going to be released?**
A: Mine's yellow, black, and brown. There's a neon red version with hash marks. Which multi-colored one are you looking for?

**Q: Anyone know when they will release the multicolored one?**
A: All colors are released as of November 3rd

The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot blaster is easily one of the best designs by Nerf. I’ve always loved the revolver-style design, it feels great in the hand, and the hammer-pull action adds a satisfying tactile experience every time you play.
