However I don’t use it as it takes up too much room. For me it stays connected as all one piece other than the nato rail which is on my cage and the teeth that attach to your lens. **Q: Can you use 2 of these at the same one for zoom and one for focus? One left and one right?** A: I guess in theory you could depending on the other items you already have attached to the cage. It would be quite a bulky set up. **Q: Is it gonna work with the raveneye on gimbal?** A: I don't think this is suitable to use on a gumball. It's a manual follow focus whilst on a gumball you will need a wireless follow focus so you don't have to touch the camera. A fist time user may take a few tries to set it up how they like but once you've done that it's easy to remember. The wheel and gear mechanism itself is incredible smooth, very pleasing to use. Yo uget the option to switch the gear to either side of the focus system for different setups. The focus wheel has the option of using hard stops if you want to only pull focus, zoom or apature (since you could use it for any of these lens functions) in a specific range which is a great feature to help make super accurate pulls. Definitely a feature you will use regularly. Overall I'm very pleased with the product, SmallRig continues to make high quality filmmaking/video production products at affordable prices. Personally, I'm running this on my BMPCC 6K rig and it mKes pulling focus breeze.
