In many ways, upsizing made carrying the phone riskier, as it doesn't fit comfortably in my pocket and it felt easier to drop. I did a lot of homework before buying a case to protect it and decided on the Shieldon because of it's classy, sleek and minimal look. Although I mostly carry a wallet, I prefer only taking one piece when going out to a restaurant. I love the three card slots, but didn't want an ID window. I also didn't want the closing tab as I figured it would get in the way, and also ruin the look.I'm totally thrilled with this case. It has lived up to my expectations. Very smart. Feels great in my hands. The leather is faultless and has a total sense of luxury that I've never felt with a phone before. The iPhone fits snug inside and the whole unit feels weighty and strong - not flimsy.This adds to the experience of carrying the phone.The case is magnetic. With three cards and some bills inside, there is some weakening with the magnetic contact, but this is only slight and it was something I expected. It does not bother me as the case stays closed and nothing will fall out. When folding back the cover, the magnets keep it secure so you can easily use the phone without it getting in the way.One of the features of our currency in Australia are the different sized bank notes. Anything up to a $50 fits without folding, as does the $50 but it is a tight fit.I bought two - the brown (tan) and also the black. The two wallets and freight cost a little more than one of Apple’s leather cases (not wallets). I couldn't be happier with my purchase and wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone who wants quality, stylish and functional protection for their phone. Thanks to Shieldon, their designers and manufactures, I have am able to tick everything off my must-have list.The case acts as a great stand and is also useful when taking timed shot with the camera. The Sena case was no longer at a reduced price, Sena, Vaja, and Pad & Quill cases are typically north of $100. I purchase this case so that I would have protection while I made up my mind. After getting this case so nicely packaged and using it, I am no longer in the market to buy a new wallet case. I'm going to keep using this one and if it wears out, I will simply order another one. I believe that this is genuine leather. If it is synthetic, it's a very good one. The fit and finish is superb. It looks great. When closed, it's not that much larger than the phone itself and you can keep 2 credit cards. Although there are 3 slots, the flap won't stay closed with 3 cards or with folded money stored. I have decided to give up on this feature so that I can continue to use this slim wallet case. I need only 2 credit cards anyway. I rarely use cash. So I have to have my driver's license, insurance cards and cash in another wallet somewhere that I can retrieve them if I need to. In my opinion, it is such a great value for the price!! The case is attractive and very well made, and comes in a presentation "drawer" and sleeve that looks like you paid much much more than you really did. My only complaint would be the "feel the nature" slogan that comes embossed on the inside of the case, which just seems weird and looks out of place - fortunately no one sees that when the case is closed - so not a deal breaker for me. Another reviewer mentioned about the front flap that covers the camera. Basically I'm pretty sure most all leather covers, when folded (all the way back), cover the cameras - so you simply learn to hold the cover open while taking your photos. I actually like the front cover to use as an added thing to grab to steady my hands as I take a photo - so it's a non issue for me, and I'm a photographer that values the camera on my phone very much and constantly take pictures. Buttons are easy to access as well. Two thumbs up.
