**Q: Are they for recurve bows?**
A: Yes, absolutely.  I ordered these for numerous recurves of mine.  They are excellent.  Just be sure you order the correct size.  There are small and large depending on the diameter of the bowstring, which is a function of the number of strands.  (12, 14, 16, 18 strand or whichever.)  The polymer insert color indicates small or large.  I forget which is which, but I think the red is the larger one.  Double check it though.
