I love the smaller point end of these and use it exclusively now. You do not have to press hard or barely at all really, and the taps are recognized. You barely touch and that's all that's needed. The smaller tip allows for better navigation on smaller areas of print on smaller screens like smartphone screens. It is also great for drawing or editing type apps. I love that the tip is not totally hollow - some are too hollow and you have to press so hard and the tip ends up with a hole in it quickly. These aren't like that - they have a nice sturdy tip. The inclusion of replacement tips is a great bonus and they're easy to switch out. I've noticed some stylus need to be straight up, can this be very tilted like writing with a pen?** A: I got it for my iPad and it works great there (angled and all)... just got a new iPhone 6S and it doesn't work there... except as some have noted, it is held straight up and pressed hard downward. **Q: does this work well for writing notes?** A: Not on my nexus 10. Thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price for quality but needs improvement *by R***N on October 1, 2015* I ordered these because the stylus that came with a case I bought was cheap and very light. I have big hands and prefer something a bit more heavy so that I can have more control and not feel like I am going to snap it in half. Overall, this was a good buy. I like that they are almost like an actual pen. They are longer and heavier then most of the other cheaper stylus options I have seen. I also think that the tip is great! It's smaller which allows one to select smaller things on screen more easily and I find it gives me more control. It also makes it easier to use the "draw" effect (I use OneNote sometimes) in apps. They also include 6 tip replacement. I have yet to replace one yet (use both interchangeably) so I am not sure as to length of time they will last but it has been almost 2 weeks since I bought these. However, the tip assembly that goes into the barrel of the stylus is not well anchored. Both of them came out (tip and the part that holds it into the barrel) within the first couple days. This made it hard to use as the tip assembly would pop out randomly while using. I was able to fix it myself with some Krazy glue and have not had a problem yet. I think the manufacturer needs to use better glue and not cheap kind (recommend Krazy glue type adhesive). I just put a few dabs around the brass-colored part and slipped it back into the barrel, letting it dry for a few minutes. Problem fixed! Overall a good buy for the price and it's nice to have replacement tips! I would recommend getting these but I would be warned that you may need to do a little "fix" like I did.
