Their warranty is great. This is my 3rd SureFire light I bought it for a weeklong camping trip in Sequoia National Park (central CA). This little light more than did the job for the entire week on one set of batteries that are still going STRONG. Some other reviewers on Amazon have complained about the Low-Off-High-Off option being first vs High-Off-Low-Off, but I found for my purposes that Low-Off was more than adequate & the High-Off option is easy enough to access w/a couple of quick clicks on the tailcap switch. A word of caution, if you run the light in High mode w/600 lumens of maximum output it will get a little HOT to the touch, nothing too extreme but it is something to be aware of if a kid is using the light.
