## Questions & Answers

**Q: how wide is the blade?**
A: The blade is 2" at it's widest point. That would be at the heel of the blade.

**Q: Spine thickness of yaxell drugon chef knife ?**
A: The spine is 3.5 MM at it's widest

**Q: Can this knife use to cut fish and chicken bone without damging the blade?**
A: Should be fine! The shape of the blade may be a bit off for boning but as long as you’re smart about it, it’ll work. One of the hardest knives out there, with a 63 on the Rockwell Hardness scale.

**Q: What are the main differences in this knife and the yaxell dragon fire?**
A: The main differences are that the dragon classic is more traditional western design and are 3mm thick while the Dragon Fire are Asian designs and a thinner 2.5mm thick

A Great Well Balanced Chef's Knife

*by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2019*

I love this knife don't let the 3 stars fool you. The knife is very well balanced and screaming sharp. It's also made out of some of the best kitchen knife steel made so far.So why the 3 stars you ask?The knife in the listing's pictures is a Yaxell Dragon. I received an Apogee Culinary knife(see pictures). I really can't stand when I buy something it not being exactly what the pictures in the listing show. I did not know who Apogee Culinary was ,and thought I got the old bait and switch. The Dragon Kanji on the blade(see pictures again) is a lot larger than the Yaxell version and frankly looks quite ridiculous on the Apogee version. Manufacturer please make it smaller it just looks gaudy that large. The last thing is the handle, it's a little small and fits loose in my hand. It's not a big deal because if they made it bigger it would not fit smaller hands and also would throw off the balance.Overall a really well made knife and would buy again and would recommend to others. But Manufacturer please change the listing to reflect the proper product we will receive. And if I somehow did get a knock off please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.

    Great knife

*by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2019*

Its a very nice knife with good steel. The edge retention is quite good. Keep in mind that this chefs knife has a significant curvature to it and may take an adjustment to your use. I use this in conjunction with the Dragon 10" chefs knife. This is a blade you rock with.

    This knife is awesome!!

*by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2017*

This knife is awesome!!! I have multiple knife brands, and I will give a super honest review.... it’s sharper then an 8’ Shun Chef knife, and possibly very close, or sharper then a Global out of the box. However, my Global knifes are sharper at this point, after running them through the Global Mino Sharpner multiple times!
