My kids made a green glow putty, a "lava" orange, a purple "galaxy" putty, a shimmery blue they called "bullet train" and an aqua blue ish. There was plenty of each mix in so each tin ended up filled to the top. Once they finished mixing they decorated their tins, and they've been playing with the putty all evening. My only tip would be to only add the glow to one or 2 and only lighter colors. Our green glows great but we added a little bit to the lava and didn't get any glow from it. It does include special effects such as glow in the dark, metallic, there are 3 special effects putties and 3 color concentrated putties- you can actually make quite a lot different combinations. **Q: If ypu leave this putty out will it dry up or is this not air dry?** A: No it will not dry out ever. Bur you do need to keep it in a container st all times. My son left it on the bed after playing with it and lest just say we had to throw away putty and sheets . **Q: Are the tins 2 inches?** A: Actually they look more like the 1 Inch tins it is a great product my daughter loves them and had so much fun making them! **Q: Would a 5 year old like this?** A: Yes, but with supervision. It comes with a variety of 'putty-enhancers', including 5 tins of clear putty, that are all awesome in their own ways. It comes with good amounts of the basic colors, (red, blue and yellow) and the special putties (glow putty, shimmer putty, and sparkle putty).
