Initially, after I tried installing them, I thought it was impossible. However, by squeezing the memory foam earbud slightly, the inside seal forms an oval shape, and it becomes easy to place in on the peg, applying pressure until it is in place. Once on, it is extremely unlikely to come off. The Sony’s and Sennheiser’s are low end of their brand offering but produce quality sound out of the box. Adding Comply Noise Canceling tips made them better. I use the IEMs with several portable devices and a desktop hybrid tube headphone amp. The sound quality is easy to live with. More expensive buds wouldn’t need these tips, but the sound improvement is worth what I paid for these. I use the IEMs while mowing and snow blowing. There is a noticeable reduction in mower/ blower noise volume. It also allows a lower volume setting on my phone. They have held up well and continue to be a worthwhile improvement in value and sound.
