The canvas lines up just above the drawer so it’s in a good position for sitting in front of **Q: How much weight can this hold?** A: My opinion is that it could hold up to 60 lbs, more weight, I think that it could fall over. If it is set up properly. For the longevity of the item I would not put as much weight at a constant. **Q: Why is it not sturdy after I set it up** A: Make sure all your bolts are tight. also, it needs to sit on skid pads or it will slide across the floor if you bump it or do bob ross style painting. Mine is not as sturdy as I would like it to be either.
