Because its elasticated I find its more comfortable than other bands and its more breathable than silicon bands making wrist sweat a thing of the past. I do wish that the lugs which actually attach to the watch fitted better, there's a good 1mm of play which just isn't present on the official Apple bands. The lugs are also made of plastic which I expect will become brittle over time and likely be the downfall of this strap.
