Next to the fuses is a wiring plug. It is a 12 pin plug but only 8 slots are used since I did not have power/heated mirrors or turn signal before I wired them. I had to discover this plug even after I watched a video on wiring the sequential/running lights. The video said pin 6. The wiring plug in my truck was actual pin 5 for the park/fog/head lights. It was the only pin that did not register voltage on my multi-meter with the key on “accessory”. Of course when I turned the lights on it registered 12.4 volts on the DC meter. The numbers on the wiring plug (1 through 12) are very small. You will have to use a magnifying glass or explore the pins with a multi-meter set to DC. Be careful not to blow a fuse by touching something you shouldn’t with the MM tips. It is possible your vehicle is already wired through the wiring harness and plug at your mirror in the door panel. I understand some are depending on the type of mirrors you have.
