Simply place the laser in your 1.25Γ’ οΏ½ focuser, use the visible laser spot on the primary mirror to adjust the secondary so the laser hits the middle of the primary, and then adjust the primary so the beam is directed straight back on top of itself. No stars required and can be done in your living room in under five minutes. This very handy accessory features an adjustable brightness control and is powered from a single 2032 type battery (included). May be used on any standard Newtonian reflector telescope, as well as Schmidt-Newtonians where the optical system contains two independently adjustable mirrors. Not compatible with refracting telescopes, and not recommended for Schmidt-Cassegrain or other compound models where only the secondary is adjustable.
