I noticed in the comments that many people had trouble figuring out how the pieces fit, and the visual instructions aren't complete. The black feeder bar installs in the printer body where the back panel was removed before the feed assembly goes in. Make sure it goes in straight and locks into place (the blue tab goes on the right side). Remove the back panel, insert the feeder bar, and lock in the feed tray assembly.
