And the shipping was fast. It was smaller than expected and very light and portable. Can easily fit into your pocket, daypack, or b.o.b and comes with caps on both ends so no dirt, sand or bugs get in there. This thing filters puddle water from the street! I know because i tried! I wold not hesitate using it for any kind of water you find. Only filters about 25L of water but thats fine for the amount of contaminants it filters! Great item to add to a survival or hiking pack. I Haven't had to drink out of any suspect water sources yet, so I can't comment on how efficiently it works. I think its more of an item you buy and keep for survival situations. Hopefully I'll never use it, but might try it out next time I hiking and come upon a mountain stream. It's a good insurance policy against going thirsty in any emergency, be it, lost in the woods or hit by a hurricane or power grid failure. Always best to be prepared.
