They tend to crack easily when dropped but they at least protect the screen underneath so good there. Easy to see the grid though in any light and can sometimes have this weird water effect. They can be fidly to apply but the plastic guide helps a lot. They are cheap so at least I feel okay with changing these every few months! I haven't found any that I would truly consider 5 stars though so this gets a 4. Still better than a lot of the others out there. Funny but, not dumb. Look for the seam around the side. Check for tape. Cut with razor knife around the tape or seams. They act as if it's a $1,000 item the way they seal it. Unfortunately I dropped my phone flat on the screen on the floor 😕 a couple of days later but the new shield got cracked up instead of the phone screen so I replaced it with the second one that came on the box and I went and order another one so incase I break it again and when I travel again I will definitely take another replacement box with me just incase.
