## Questions & Answers

**Q: Made in the USA?**
A: No it’s not, I didn’t have good luck with this tap either. It broke on an M12 impact and it only last 3 pre drilled holes.

**Q: Can this dril through and tap 1/2" thick A-36 steel bar?**
A: I’d pre drill it first before running this tap thro. That’s a pretty thick piece of steel even tho it is mild. And make sure to lubricate the tap while using it it will snap.

Works great for mild steel. 1/8”-1/4” Not sure how it would work on anything else or any thicker. I used it to make about 25 holes an tapped for eyebolts without an issue
