This hoist has an enclosed Weston-style friction disk brake and enclosed gears, a covered chain guide and chain cleaner, zinc-plated load chain, and sealed bearings for resistance to debris and wear. Identification tags are made of stainless steel for resistance to corrosion, are riveted to the hoist for secure attachment, and have etched labels for added legibility and resistance to wear.
