Old sealed beams don't put out enough light.My truck had aftermarket HID bulbs put in when I bought it, and while bright, the beam pattern was awful. Basically, they were what those people with the glaring blue headlights use. They were bright, but no pattern to focus on the road.These LED lights have a great color temp, and excellent focus. Standing in front of the truck looking at them, they don't look that bright, until you kneel down into the beam. They have a very solid cutoff on the low beams, and the high beams just add to it. The LEDs don't create enough heat; Not like a regular halogen head light. There is a post on youtube about it.
