Noticed that it leaks pretty profusely from 2 places: first where the hose attaches to the connector and where the connector screws into the main spigot (attached to the house water supply). I put plumber's tape (thread sealing tape) on both ends of the connector and it still leaks a bit. When I turn the water off, a large spray of water occurs at the connector as the pressure in the hose decreases. Not sure if this is a design flaw or defective hose. Would anyone at Careful Gardner please comment on this? Also, I found the water pressure to be abysmal in contrast to the 5/8 hose I intended to replace with this. I found the same water pressure issue to be true of a 25 foot “Commando” expandable hose.
