The Spirit gives you an unbelievable downhill experience rolling down from hills or slopes like you do skiing, without snow. Stage5 w/Brake will enjoy a skate park environment, as well as downhill usage, owing to its high-strength composite frame, fat tire, double walled BMX rim and heavy duty hydraulic brake system. It is recommended for users with a minimum height of 140cm and a maximum weight of 120kg. It is identical to the β€œStage5” model but it features a Tektro Gemini hydraulic brake disc with a supersize 203mm rotor. The brake is operational, either if it is locked inside the frame or if the handle is removed from the frame. In case of city cruising, it is more convenient to keep the handle inside the frame, and simply reach down to pull the brake lever. For downhill riding, it is advised to remove the handle from the frame, as it remains connected to the frame by a flexible hydraulic hose. This will allow you to move your arms freely, for balancing and operating the brake at the same time. In addition, this model features a pair of frontal knee pads. These frontal knee pads support the knee from the front, especially when the brake is pulled hard. Just like Stage3, the body of Stage5 w/Brake is also made out of a remarkably strong composite. We use premium grade nylon with 15% glass fibre reinforcement. The mixture matches the tensile strength of basic aluminium but is lighter, tougher and has much higher impact resistance.
